Life and Forced Labour at Spaç

In May 1973, growing anger over violence, forced labour and living conditions erupted after a confrontation involving prisoner Pal Zefi. Fellow prisoners refused to abandon him, and the protest quickly developed into an organised revolt against prison authorities.
